Hello world (& wide web), my name is Jone (조운, 趙雲). Sometimes somewhat solipsistic due to many thoughts but also practicing to be mindful, I am a Korean-Canadian R&D engineer with openness to multi-disciplinary innovation and creativity. This is my little personal webpage sailoring in the tide of the world wide web.
안녕하세요, 광활한 세상의 월드와이드웹! 저는 조운 (Jone, 趙雲)이라고 합니다. 생각이 많은편인지라 가끔은 조금 유아론적인 경향도 있지만 타인의 관점을 이해하려 노력하며, 다양한 학제간 관계에 호기심도 많은 한국계 캐나다인 연구개발 공학도/자입니다. 이곳은 월드와이드 웹을 항해하고 있는 제 자그마한 개인 웹페이지입니다.
I have largely been driven by curiosity from my earlier years, and willingness to learn new things. I have studied and worked in the science and engineering industry in variety of areas as a student, intern and involved in full-time works, as well as working on personal projects. I strive to continually co-develop my balance of understanding and practice of theories, ethics, and responsibility with engineer as my primary job.
저는 어린시절부터 주로 제가 태어난 세상에 대한 호기심과 다양한 배움에 대한 동기부여로 자라온 편입니다. 다양한 과학과 공학 산업 분야에서 학생, 인턴, 직원으로 근무한 경험이 있으며, 개인적인 프로젝트들에도 많은 시간과 열정을 불태우기도 했습니다. 공학자가 주 직업인 사람으써 이론에 대한 이해와 실천의 균형을 지속적으로 함께 발전시키는데 힘을 쓰고 있습니다.
Although I am not a professional in other areas, I am mainly a person of wide variety of interest and curiousity, and have come back revisiting for fusion of the dreams I had as a child but chose not to pursue.
다른 분야에서는 전문성을 주장할 수는 없겠지만, 어린시절 꿈은 꾸어보았지만 추구하지 않은 꿈들을 기회가 있을때마다 재방문하며 융합하는데 힘쓰는 넓은 관심분야와 호기심을 가진 사람이기도 합니다.
For such reason, I try practicing to be more mindful of the long-term impacts of work I create on society, and am inclined with interest in advocating for public relationship of engineers, scientists, researchers, scholars, artists with the lay public.
이러한 이유들로, 저는 제가 참여하고 작업하는 일들이 사회에 미칠 장기적 영향을 고려하는데 노력하는데 힘쓰길 바라며, 특히 공학자, 과학자, 연구자, 학술인, 예술인들의 일반사회와의 공공/공적 관계를 변호하는 일에 관심을 가지고 있습니다.
