Motivation / 관심사

Multi-disciplined and curious in nature, here are the topics that gives me meaning and motivations in my life:
다학문적 융합된 접근과 탐구에 관심이 많은 사람으로써, 제 삶에 동기부여가 되며 의미를 주는 주제들은 다음과 같습니다:

◦ Signal processing, dynamic systems, machine learning, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, neuromorphic computing, consciousness, qualia and phenomenal field as scientific hypothesis and/or humanistic theory.
◦ 신호 처리, 동적 시스템, 기계 학습, 인공지능, 신경과학, 신경모사 컴퓨팅, 의식, 감각질, 그리고 현상적 장(現象的場)을 과학적 가설과 인문학적 이론으로서 탐구하는 것.

◦ Understanding the spirit of Sejong and scholars ("et al.") in the context of pre-modern Korean/Eastern history of science & technological development, and its application to modern Korean/Eastern-Western philosophy with its practical, adaptive, efficient, meticulous, considerate, thoughtful and human-centric aspects. 2°-order cybernetic ethical fusion of science/technology/academics with humanism and arts.
◦ 세종과 학자들("et al.")의 정신을 전근대 한국/동양 과학기술 역사적 맥락에서 이해하고 현대 한국 및 동서양 철학에 적용한, 실용적이고 적응적이며, 효율적이고 꼼꼼/세심하며 배려있고 인간적인, 과학/학문/기술의 2차 사이버네틱 윤리와 인본주의/인문학적 융합.

◦ Media literacy, collective/societal information semantics and their dynamics (including casual/informal aspects of street epistemology and “memes”), interpretations, spiritual/religious trauma, Characteristica universalis, discussion on the problem of free will, sub+objectivity, individual existence, identity, meaning, intentionality, problems pertaining to secularism, democratism, cosmopolitanism.
◦ 미디어 문해력, 집단/사회적 정보 의미론과 그 역학 (예를 들어 길거리/저잣거리 인식론과 “밈”의 캐주얼한/비형식적인 측면 포함), 해석, 영적/종교적 트라우마, 보편/통용특성표의문자(Characteristica Universalis, 普遍/通用特性表意文字), 자유 의지의 문제에 대한 논의, 주+객관성, 개인의 실존, 정체성, 의미, 의도성, 세속주의, 민주주의, 세계시민주의와 관련된 문제들.

◦ I also wish to seek possibilities for contribution and discussion to formalization and elaboration on variety of long-debated topics in metaphysics.
◦ 형이상학에서 오래 논의되어 온 다양한 주제들에 대한 정리와 발전에 기여하고 토론할 가능성을 모색하는 것.

◦ Improving intuitivity, friendliness and accessibility to variety of "difficult and abstract" traditional scholarly subjects with richness of open models and examples for education, while promoting responsible usage and applications, maintaining intellectual rigour and honesty, trying to understand and sucessing the creator's good will and intention behind.
◦ 전통적으로 "어렵고 추상적이라고" 여겨지던 다양한 학문들을 더 재미있고 직관적이며 친밀/접근성있게 만들고, 풍부한 열린 교육용 예제 및 모델들과 함께 책임감있는 사용/적용을 도모하며 그 뒤에 있는 지적 엄밀함과 정직성, 제작/창작자들의 좋은 의지 및 의도를 배우려 노력하고 이어나가는 것.

◦ Continuation of scholars' relation and service towards benefit of the public, fostering intellectual curiosity for future generations and promotion of intellectual openness, honesty, rigorous reasoning, and peer-reviewed veritas.
◦ 학계/학자들의 대중과의 관계 및 공익을 위한 헌신을 지속하며, 미래 세대의 지적 호기심을 키우고 개방성, 지적 정직함, 엄밀한 사고, 그리고 피어리뷰/동료검토 된 진리(veritas)를 촉진하는 것.

◦ Responsible and long-term sustainable co-evolution of technology and society which does not forget to care for the environment and nature.
